The Chester Childbirth Appeal has supported the Maternity Unit at the Countess of Chester NHS Hospital since its inception in 1991, providing facilities and amenities over and above those afforded by the NHS. Only with the help of fund-raisers, volunteers and the great generosity of our supporters of the Childbirth Appeal have we been able to raise money to finance these improvements.
